announced that it is opening a non-destructive testing center in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. The new facility expands AMS’s geographic reach to help meet the needs of automotive. And other industries clustered in south central Mexico, where manufacturers such as Ford, Toyota, GM, Chrysler, KIA, BMW, Nissan, Audi, VW, Honda and Mazda have plants.

Raúl González Ramírez of Celaya, Guanajuato, has been hired to oversee the company’s operations and quality control. Ramírez has an industrial mechanical engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya. And a master’s degree in quality and productivity from UTEC. Ramírez has more than 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering, business management. And related research activities in mechanical engineering and holds numerous industry credentials and certifications.
